Yeah, I am hoping they don’t, either. I think it is for the best when politics are left out of animation (or entertainment media in general). Frankly, my all-time favorite cartoons don’t include politics at all, and this includes MLP.

What I mean is that some series, whether cartoon or not, has that kind of message but excessive and the charity of the series is lousy and horrible, I just hope that the film and the future series G5 do not have those problems

I wonder what you could mean by ‘progressive messages’. The synopsis of the series doesn’t seem all that political to me. It simply looks like a fun show.

This is the brony fandom. There is bound to be some conflict (I mean, just look what happened when Starlight was reformed, or Twilight was made an Alicorn). I just hope that it doesn’t become a major issue down the road. There will certainly be two sides, but I hope that the two sides can live and talk together as friends rather than as rivals, bonding over their shared interest in cartoon ponies.

Not always. I guess this is one thing that I am quite passionate about, mostly because I would personally love to see more art and fan stories revolving around G5. And I feel like a fansite dedicated to G5 would be a great way to bring together fans of G5 like myself. Maybe not an art site, necessarily, but a social site. I don’t see anything wrong with that idea, but I would love to hear your thoughts.

If you recall, the brony fandom didn’t exist until G4 came about, so naturally no other pages for any previous generation were created. However, G5 is coming with the brony fandom already existing. So naturally there will be more artists making images of G5 than there were for generations 1,2,or 3. Not only that, but the Internet was only starting to become widespread when G4 was first released, and almost everyone has access to it nowadays during the age of G5. So it will be easier than ever to create websites for the new generation. Also, you seem to have ignored the fact that other art sites already exist. I don’t know why you aren’t bringing that up, because that is hugely important when discussing this! I am not saying that it will ever be as significant as Derpibooru is currently, since Derpibooru was the original art site at the beginning of the brony fandom. It has a unique place in the community simply due to it being created when the fandom was first starting out, much like Equestria Daily on the social side of things. However, that doesn’t rule out the possibility of other people trying to create new sites due to the existing sites not fulfilling their desires when it comes to how said site should be run and what kind of content it should include. Hence why there might be more G5 sites created by members of the community that are interested in it. And that includes another art site much like Derpi running on the same engine as Derpi. It has been done before, and it will be done again.

Are you telling me that a page should be exclusively for a single generation? If so, then each generation should have its own page, and are you sure those pages are just pure G4 and there are no other generations?

You do realize that there are other sites for just G4 art, right? Off the top of my head I know that there is a site called Twibooru and another site called Manebooru. With that in mind, do you really think it would be that strange to create a site dedicated to G5? For me, I don’t think so. I think it would be stranger if someone didn’t create a site dedicated to G5 art. After all, the fandom will likely be split when G5 is released, with some users loving G5 and some users hating it. Sort of like what happened with the Star Wars fanbase when Disney started releasing films.

Yeah, same here. For the most part I have really enjoyed the art that is uploaded here, and I think that G5 art could still look great among the existing G4 art. I mean, we are already getting a lot of G5 art as it is (just look at how many Izzy and Sunny pictures have been submitted so far, even before the launch of the movie), and we are likely going to get even more when the film is released and all G5 embargoes are lifted. And G4 art will continue to be made for many years to come, as there are still a ton of people that love that style and those characters, and with the FiM comic coming to an end that will be the last G4 related content that will still be created.  
So yes, I do believe that Derpi will continue to be the main site used for both G4 and G5, though I wouldn’t be surprised if we eventually see another Philomena-powered site that is dedicated to G5.

I wonder if there will be a new art site dedicated to G5 content, or if the existing art sites (like Derpibooru here) will be used for both G4 and G5 art.
