It’s cute when Spike is all passive-aggressive and rebellious about the grammar lessons Twilight and/or Celestia gave him.
It’s supposed to be “have no parents,” or, optimally “don’t have parents”.

I make them all bi, so for me at least shipping RD as a lesbian isn’t based off some stereotype.
I’ve never directly seen anyone make RD a lesbian because she’s a rainbow or because she’s tomboyish, it’s really just never in any way seemed like a reason that she’d be a lesbian.
I remember the hypocrisy of against pushing stereotypes as some (not all f course) of the same people would make Rainbow Dash a lesbian because she’s a rainbow colored tomboy.
No one tries to bring the same headcanon as high with other character like RD and I’ve met straight tomboys, girly lesbians, metros, manly masculine gay guys and the like that don’t represent such stereotypes.
I’d say enough of them are not that “girly” that they’re clearly not trying to push some stereotype, so I don’t get their deal…
Pretty much is “girls can be whatever they want…as long as they are not traditionally feminine, that’s repressive.”
You’d be surprised.
I’ve met girls that like to be the rough tomboy and I’ve met girls that like to be girly.
Don’t generalize.
