She does have the power to set the universe on fire, but she has to turn evil to do that. Her magical ability is great, but not against the likes of Tirek, Discord, etc., without assistance as aforementioned. :3
Discord : Seal with deus ex machina Element of Harmony.
Tirek : Scorpan (His brother)’s help.
Sombra : Seal in ice with Luna help.
Nightmare Moon : Seal with deus ex machina Element of Harmony.
Celestia is a ruling type of leader, not a warlord. She is capable to rule for a thousand years all on her own. Not because she is great fighter, but a great ruler with great management. To use the right pony for the right job. And to know what she can and can’t do. Know the limit of herself.
I absolutely disagree! She did this job very successfully for a thousand years all on her own. She defeated Discord, Tirek, Sombra, Nightmare Moon and who knows how many other villains. Let alone all the monsters like the dragons.
I will never accept this headcanon of Celestia being somehow a bad fighter. To derive that conclusion from the show is just very poor reasoning.
I have NO CLUE what that is…
