The background is a page of blue craft scrapbook paper with three layers of watercolor rock formations / kelp and some pastel colors sun beams. Flutter is done in Primacolors and color pencil. This is the best “underwater” effect Ive managed to create yet how do you react to sharky Fluttershy?

In fact, almost everything wrong with Shy as a character is in that episode, barring the ‘sympathy magnet gets instant protection from overwhelming force’ cliché.

Not always.
Because sometimes they’re just flat out wrong and deserve what they get. Or deserve what the sympathy exempts them from.
Nah, I can gather from your past comments that your not a fan of a lot of ponies, while I like all of them, so I kinda think we might come across a lot of arguments. Also, isn’t it a good thing if a characters gains sympathy?
I mean she attracts alot of sympathy, by default and not always when appropriate.
But, that’s a rather minor reason.

I’m told a majority of us are from 2011. While many fans are also from 2010, I can’t really name any notable ones besides Madmax, Sargent Sprinkles, and… I think either Phoe or Cereal or both. :j
I guess I could be… I don’t qualify as a colt because I never really used /co/ and didn’t start posting until Feb 2011 by which time there was Equestria Daily and the original booru so there were other outlets for my art. I sure have stuck around a long time, though, especially in the MLP art world!

That’s… hmm… I like my headcanon more (minus the death thing).
The artist has Sunset as a shark pony too.
So it’s reasonable all the ponies are sharkies here.
Not because people are being eaten, but because people are having cute-induced heart attacks upon seeing her.
And if they don’t, they drown because they have an irresistible urge to snuggle her forever and forget to go back up for air.
