Those old images are very old, so the flag on them for whether they’re animated wasn’t set.

I think the code clobbered their hashes with junk data too.
 
Another thing I’ve been meaning to ask, the orig_sha512_hash field seems correctly populated, but the sha512_hash doesn’t seem to match the images on the site (it always seems to be a clone of the orig_sha512_hash field). Is this intentional?
 
Also, it’d be awesome if there was some kind of hashing done for all the file types that are generated, and the sha512_hash search actually scanned for any of the hashes to match. This is how InkBunny work with theirs, and it makes finding image pages based off any linked image a lot easier.

Not a huge issue to lose a few days worth. I’ve just started using hash searches to help source images on Discord (it’s great for finding a better source for old tumblr images in particular). Any idea on why the two hashes are always the same? Shouldn’t the sha512_hash be a hash of the actual derpibooru full image and not the source?

They are not always the same. They often are, however.

Okay, but in no case I’ve tested has either of those hashes matched the full image file hosted on derpibooru.

A small bug with closed polls. This here says “Poll ended about 2 hours agowith1462 total votes”. There are no spaces between the words in “agowith1462”, it should say “ago with 1462”.

Yeah, they should be spaced out.

Even the images that are too small to have different-sized versions (e.g. >>1911832) try to expand if clicked upon, flashing and re-rendering. That wasn’t the case before.

in image #1912339 in the report tap, the automatic duplicate reporting system, reported an image that is clearly not simlier to it, now I’m wondering if this is indeed a bug?

Just a followup. Is what I reported about hashes actually a bug, or are hashes for the images on the site not stored?

Day is December the 23rd but the sites timeline is saying it’s the 24th.

I had this problem before, every time when I check my notifications it doesn’t show the time in my end, it’s actually because it’s showing Germany’s time, which I sometimes find it odd that it’s that way, yet I couldn’t care much of it.
