That should be an implication not an alias. “Chainmail bikini” is specific enough to be its own tag.

pelvic thrusts → pelvic thrust  
blatant lies → lies (or vice versa)

Works for me too. The “chainmail bikini” tagged images I looked at just looked like to be “unconvincing armor” designed in a distinct way.

Maybe an implication the other way around (abdominal bulge -> stomach bulging) but there’s plenty of stuff under that tag that’s way more than just an abdominal bulge. Not equivalent.

Unless that’s how all the images are tagged, I don’t think one need to be merged with the other. Levitation could also mean ‘floating’ by magical means, but without the use/assistance of telekinesis.

I’m not going to go through all the images with the “levitation” and “telekinesis” tags because I don’t have that kind of time, but I guarantee “levitation” and “telekinesis” mean the same thing in common usage on derpibooru: a unicorn or alicorn holding something aloft with magic.

As far as i know, this isn’t unicorn magic. and we don’t have another tag for characters floating in the air with no magical intervention.

That is certainly not telekinesis. And if we aliased levitation, we’d have nothing else to tag those sorts of images with.
