We can assume that they really wanted to learn about friendship or their plan was to keep the ponies in the FU.  
Also, I notice something: none have cutie marks related to education, such as books or diplomas. Heck, it is implied that one of them is a complusive buyer. And I know that Cherrilee has a flower cutie mark, but she is a kindergarten teacher, those ponies are the head of the educational system of Equestria and they do not have education as their passion.

I made a long time ago a few suggestions for her name My ideas were Carnival Ride and Ferris Wheel.
 
Btw.: The names Whirlwind Romance (brown Pegasus), Ocean Dream (Spa visitor Pony) and Lolly Love (Nurse Unicorn) are the “official” placeholder names on the MLP Wiki now. So I guess we can make the tags for these names blue, or?

I actually kinda knew that, but just because two words or terms are synonyms doesn’t mean they always convey the same mood. “Antonym” feels a bit more formal than “opposite” does, for example.

Right. In this case, “Sirocco” technically means one specific wind that blows in the Mediterranean area from south to north, sweeping from Africa to Europe – its meaning is a lot more narrow than simply “desert wind”.

I support Sirocco, it’s a little more original and unique.
 
However, “Desert Wind” and “Sirocco” might better be saved for the ponies of the incoming episode Road to Friendship if possible. That said, I thought his cutie mark was something food related or a clay stove.

I feel waiting until Sunday might be a good idea. More people might be more active on Saturday to vote some more.

I don’t know if this is the right place or not, but I commented elsewhere that a good name for the Kirin Queen would be either Tzu Hsi or Yehonala. Tzu Hsi being the last empress of China, and Yehonala being her name before she became empress.
