What’s interesting is that every one of these CYOA shorts has a “canon” ending, that’s referred to in later shorts (some of them were also part of the memory reels in Forgotten Friendship).
 
Pinkie’s ending is actually the canon one for Best Trends Forever, actually.

On the other hand, I think some of the shorts also utilized elements from different endings.
 
Maybe there is a true path taken on each of them. But I think it might be too ambiguous or DHX might not have actually intended for a true path.
 
Still fun to try and find though.

I think Forgotten Friendship was only supposed to air after the entire season one of the EqG Series was done because the memories show some shorts that haven’t even aired yet (some have early on Discovery Go though).

Even that is kind of confusing, as one later short seems to have two Canon endings. In that, each one is referenced at a different point.

If you had watched the first upload of Best Trends Forever, you’d noticed there’s no re-direct in each ending to choose the other endings unlike now.

The weird thing is that the countdown when you see the three choices doesn’t automatically take you to the default choice.
