Yeah, wow, it’s hard to think about how many episodes wouldn’t have even worked if it remained that way.

I find it both funny and weird that the show relies on schizo tech for its technology.

Here’s my unpopular opinion, again– people who go to anywhere on the site that isn’t a spoiler thread and blather on about spoilers from episodes that haven’t been released on DiscoFam and iTunes yet should eat a fucking Rule #0 ban for being incredibly fucking rude.

Why would they, though? The Real McColts have acted like that before in canon when they were wound up enough to forget what’s important to them, so the confusion of the others as to why the ersatz versions would be acting that way that day was a perfectly reasonable reaction. “Your friends can be jerks sometimes and even if they’re clearly in the wrong, it’s still best to step back and let everyone cool off and remember that you’re all friends” was a not-very-thinly-veiled message of the episode, and it showed how strong their friendships really are that they could all believe the others had actually been acting like that and still want to be friends.

What The Elements want and what Equestrians want is not necessarily the same thing, and there’s room for some awfully dark implications in that. They allowed Celestia to wield them alone to further the interests of maintaining Harmony by banishing Nightmare Moon, then promptly changed the password on her and locked her out of EndOfEpisodeCannon.exe for a thousand calendars; they pretty clearly have a different agenda than their users do.

A single note played in a steady monotone has no harmony, only consistency. Musical harmony does in fact require both consonance and dissonance combined, there’s no real reason to think existential harmony would be any different.

I love the way Discord throws down references from somebody else’s pop culture and nopony even knows it’s supposed to be a joke, it’s a delightful sendup of _{~wacky characters}~ from Disney garbage like Aladdin.

For the record, spoilers are a courtesy, not a rule requirement. Calling someone an asshole for not spoiling, however, is definitely against the rules. Ask nicely next time, you might actually get somewhere.

||I don’t know of anyone else cared about this, but the little detail of Rarity pronouncing Caballeron properly is really nice. I know in the show they pronounce it the way it is seen, but seeing as his character is really influenced by Spanish and going by the fact his name is a play on words of the spanish words caballo and caballero, it jus warms my little Hispanic heart by that little detail. ||

I know right? Oooh, it just gave me chills hearing it again! Plus the lampshading on it is fucking hilarious. I myself have had and still go through that issue to this day since I’m not that good at pronounin Spanish words.
