But seriously, this list alone has so much adorableness that I can’t decide.

In terms of cuteness alone, not overall best…. By sheer character design, Cloudchaser, Molly, and possibly Scootaloo top the list, with Flitter, Lilac Sky, Spring Step, and Night Glider and Not Glider (with equalized manes) also earning spots on it. Scootaloo, Lyra and Colgate (post-Amending Fences) also make the cut by a mix of design and personality. Sweetie Belle too by personality. And Gabby on an honorary pony basis. And Predator Drone, Pillow Case, Leaky Faucet, and several of the bat ponies (not all of them have tags what their names are) as far as fan-made characters go.

Aw man. If we’re bringing fancharacters into this, then I want to see Ratchette from the Triptych Continuum (main character of “Mechanical Aptitude”).
 
But in the meantime, how about this adorable pegasus: Moonlight, from Blazewing’s “Living in Equestria”? (There are several OCs named Moonlight out there; unsurprisingly, some are bat ponies. Thus the disambiguation.)
