Fallout New Vegas RP (NSFW, anthro, set after NCR ending)

Ah, the wasteland. A shitty place to live if you are outside of NCR territory or not part of a settlement. The NCR has won the second battle of Hoover Dam, thanks to an unnamed Courier. It has been 4 years since then, and a new president has been elected. A lot of new reforms have been put into place in the NCR. Brahmin caravans no longer hold major political power, and dozens of corrupted politicians have been fired. The new president did this using emergency wartime powers. Thanks to the discovery that the Legion is a bigger threat than they thought. The legion never brought it’s full strength to the Mojhave. (I probably spelled that wrong.) And now, the second biggest conflict in NCR history has begun. An alliance was forged with the brotherhood of steel, after it was discovered the legion is a common enemy.

Arriving at the Mojave Outpost, Makoto sees organized soldiers of the NCR, as well as a lot of trade caravans. The NCR has a population of over one million, and has nearly 700,000 troops at it’s disposal. Very different from any faction in the comonwealth

I was impressed by the numbers. The Institute would surely have a field day fighting these soldiers. But, I’m not here to start war. I came to expand my knowledge of other areas in this wasteland world, and extend the Institutes influence peacefully and without violence. Much to unit X6’s dismay.

You are stopped by a soldier wearing unique power armor. “So, your the mare out of time I have heard so much about?” He says. Those traders were right, the NCR does have an impressive intelligence network.

“Mare out of time huh? I didn’t expect word to get this far out into the world.” I said jokingly, with a smile on my face. “I guess you must the NCR?”

“X6? Interesting name….” I say, confused, before turning to you “Anyway, why don’t you come inside the Outpost? We got working AC. My power armor has an AC built into it, but you look hot. Err, like hot, as in, temperature, not sexy. Not that you aren’t sexy or anything it’s…. I should shut up now.”

I giggled at your words. “That’s fine… I’d love. It is pretty hot out here. Much hotter than Boston.”

I lead you inside where it is much cooler. A soldier salutes me, and I salute back. “You said something about Boston. I heard that place is filled with raiders. The NCR rangers would have a field day there, if they got the chance.”

“It was. And still is. More of them show up every day, but me and the Minute Men have been able to keep them at bay.” I said as I took a seat. “Plus, a lot of raider activity has been slowing down, ever since my Institute took over.”

“All we know is what the brotherhood also knows. But, I should probably tell you why the NCR is interested in you.”

“Because, if the reports are true, you are very capable. The legion has been increasing it’s attacks lately. And we need help with a special mission.”

“We are planning an expedition deep into legion territory, in the next state over, Arizona.”

“And you need me to come along and offer fire support? Maybe keep a look out?” I asked.

“Essentially, yes. We want you to come with. Around 500 soldiers will be part of this expedition. We will be moving using vehicles, such as Humvees and vertibirds. We even have an old Sherman Tank with us.”  
(Seriously, I miss Fallout 2, When the NCR had this stuff…)
