Headcanon: The counterpart to the “Cadance missile” is the “Shining bomb”. Cadance carries her husband over the attack zone, and drops him. Shining forms a magical shield around himself which allows him to survive a high-speed impact, a trick based on the changeling drones’ method of attack.
