Dubstep only caught on as Vinyl’s gimmick because of how popular it was when the show started.

I mean for pete’s sake, the first time she appeared she was playing HOUSE not dubstep.

Being offended is different from being hurt. Also, when I said Dubstep had fusions with other Electronic genres, that only applied to Drumstep. Reggaestep has Reggae in it, which isn’t Electronic.

I know it’s a joke, but it really isn’t funny because I sound nothing like him. Also, there’s only ONE type of Dubstep, and it’s called Dubstep. All those other genres are either many types of Electronic music that have nothing to do with Dubstep or genres that fuse Dubstep with some other Electronic genre. Also, you said you like Dubstep? Like who?

Well, I will admit, there are some Cyanide and Happiness memes I like. I just don’t really like that one.

Lol, you can post it. I PROMISE I won’t get mad.

It was a joke I like dubstep I just couldn’t help but notice all the types you mentioned and it came to mind.

Cyanide and Happiness is hilarious. :/

I have another meme I would post right now but you’d probably get mad so I wont.

I don’t have categories, they aren’t mine. They aren’t even categories, they are genres, and only one of them belongs to Dubstep, which is Dubstep. Those other genres are various genres of Electronic music.

I have seen that meme before, and it’s stupid and is not funny because it makes no sense. First of all, there’s no such thing as listening to too much Dubstep. The same goes for every genre of music. Also, he said he doesn’t when he just said after that that he listens to Dubstep. Also, almost ALL Dubstep has “wubs”, which are just bass wobbles, and he can’t call it just “wub wub garbage” because he would be sayihng that ALMOST ALL of Dubstep is garbage. Also, like I said earlier, Dubstep isn’t the only genre with wubs in it, so he might not even know what Dubstep is if that’s what he’s implying. Also, he didn’t even make two categories for it, he just said that there are different ways to make Dubstep, which there ARE; which you can say the same for every other genre of music. Honestly, that blue shirt guy technically just insulted Dubstep because the way he said it made it sound like he was implying that all Dubstep sounds the same, which is a HUGE insult and is just VERY untrue. Might as well say EVERY OTHER genre sounds the same. Also, in that last panel, he actually believes him, so by just reading that, I’m guessing he is either stupid or doesn’t even listen to Dubstep at all. Honestly, that comic is just an insult to Dubstep and its fans. I’m actually offended you would compare me to that idiot wearing the green shirt.

XD Spin That Record is Happy Hardcore, Vinyl’s big Night or Musicians of Ponyville didn’t have ANY examples of Dubstep in there, Dubstep Dishwasher shouldn’t even have Dubstep in the name because it’s Moombahcore, and Vinylicious is Moombahcore as well.

Also, wubs aren’t just a thing in Dubstep. ALL of those examples didn’t feature any “wubs” in there, mostly just hard electronic sounds. A “wub” is actually a sub-bass (or mid-ranged sometimes) wobble which sounds kind of trippy when you listen to it (doesn’t really sound trippy when listening to most Brostep or Drumstep though). If you want an example of a great bass wobble, then listen to Rubber Chicken by Caspa. I can give you WAY more examples, but I feel that’s just a great one. There are MANY different types of Electronic music that use “wubs” like UK Garage, 2-Step Garage, Grime, Dubstep, Brostep, Reggaestep, Drumstep, Drum and Bass, Oldschool Jungle, ect.

It’s okay to be wrong, I’m wrong about a lot of stuff not music related. There’s no shame, I’m just teaching you this stuff. Also, I actually thank you for showing me Spin That Record and Vinylicious, those are both great tracks. If you want me to teach you about Dubstep though and what it is, just ask me and we can have a private conversation.

Examples: spin that record, Vinyls big night, the musicians of ponyville, dubstep dishwasher, vinylicious, almost anything with nowacking voicing vinyl.

There’s a reason why the word ‘wubs’ is used with vinyl a lot.

Most of the fan made songs of her are Brostep and Drumstep. If there really are fan-made Dubstep songs of her, than show me. Also, she wasn’t playing Dubstep, it was just random electronic sounds, beats and record scratches. It wasn’t music, it was just random noises being played. Also, Octavia started making music before she came in the room, and THEN Vinyl Scratch started doing random noises. Also, it wasn’t fusion music they were making, it was just some stuff with a cello in it. It’s not a fusion. If you add a non-electronic instrument to any type of Electronic music, it’s still Electronic music.
