No, I mean when did Pinkie Pie wind up as Tigatron and/or Airrazor? I thought we were talking about Fluttershy at that point.
And Tigerhawk was in the last three episodes of the series, including the “Nemesis” two-parter, which contributed generously to the show’s death toll. He might very well have died even without a corporate mandate.
That’s what Tigerhawk was in the cartoon; Hasbro wasn’t making Tigatron or Airazor toys anymore, so they took the Tigerhawk toy prototype to the show’s producers and instructed them to include the character as a fusion of (onscreen couple) Tigatron and Airazor. Then they came back after three episodes and told them to kill off the character anyway. It was gross.
