“Sometime you don’t need many episode or several turn to defeat the strong opponant. Just hit it with the right power and you will win. Like Dark Romance that weak to Light Romance. Just a gesture of light romance like simple hug from stallion she love is enough to defeat her…”
This isn’t the ending. It would have said were it the ending.
My apologies
@Kappe
…..I am not reading that as well….
For some reason I’m also thinking of “Fifty Shades of Gray” for some reason…
Oh dear, #1 makes Cadence look really bad, looks are NOT everything at all!
Oh my God…..looking at this description of what happens in the comic….
!(http://memecrunch.com/meme/SCCF/avgn-what-were-they-thinking/image.png)!
And Twilight being a jerk?? My God, I don’t think I’ve EVER found any fan comic that’s faithful to the spirit of the show (minus “When Foals Rush In” and “A Princess’ Tears” by Silver Quill)…
I am not reading that.
She does hold a grudge. We’ve been shown right in the beginning of this entire little fan project that she holds an extreme grudge against Chrysalis. Understandably since we’ve not once been shown or seen Chrysalis asking for forgiveness or apologizing for her actions. If an individual who had invaded your state, with the intention to enslave and feed upon your people, and had kidnapped your beloved spouse, brainwashed him, literally sucked his love for you out his body, suddenly attempted to court you and ask you for assistance of course you’d legitimately hold a grudge. Chrysalis has made no efforts to make amends or apologize for the abominable way she treated Cadance and Shining. For Cadance not to hold a grudge would be strange. Additionally Cadance need not even ‘hold a grudge’ since Chrysalis has mere moments ago once again performed a vile and horrid deed; transforming into Cadance’s beloved, whose presence causes Cadance deep emotional pain as it is a reminder of something she has lost, simply to taunt her is a horridly immoral action to both Cadance and Twilight (it is her BBBFF after all who’s visage Chrysalis is using to torment Cadance).
That being said I never specified that Cadance ‘holding a grudge’ against Chrysalis is what makes this scene unsettling. There are plenty of reasons for that which have nothing to do with a grudge;
@Kappe
The grudge was not irrational at all. You can call it many things but irrational it was not. Chrysalis has displayed a clear pattern of behaviour towards ponies and innocents in every appearance she has made; she seeks to harm and enslave them for her own needs and desires, and thus rationally we assume that she has a pattern of behaviour which is consistent. Assuming she is not here to secretly cause harm would be irrational. It is akin to having a thief who, multiple times, has stolen from you, lied to you and cheated you and then, one day, arrives and says that it was for a good cause can you help me out. Rationally of course you should not believe him until he definitively verifies his case extensively for you since, rationally, you know deception in order to acquire what he desires is a consistent behaviour he has displayed.
Trusting Chrysalis would be highly irrational in this case. Making it that Chrysalis can so easily bed Cadance, remove Shining Armour from her thoughts and heart and replace him with a simple copulation is irrational.
A pity this project did not, as I hoped it would, play the intense emotional confrontation of a tear-stricken Cadance demonstrating her grief, letting Chrysalis know exactly how very much it hurts to tie your heart, your soul to another and then be bereft of him, how, even knowing that, though Cadance would still take the same option every time because that was what it meant to love Shining Armour, for her to experience love. Then perhaps there would have been a nice jumping board to a contrite Chrysalis apologizing, seeking forgiveness, and in time even perhaps Cadance assisting Chrysalis to understand more about love (other than robbing other’s of it).
But no. We just get Chrysalis bedding Cadance as if it was that easy and Shining Armour meant that little to Cadance.
I know, right? I mean, I remember this one time I kidnapped my neighbor, beat him up, stole his wife, and tried to kill all his friends, and then, when I got arrested, he wouldn’t even pay my rent while I was in prison! What an asshole!
@PonyPon
Yeah, she actually did hold a pretty irrational grudge earlier in this series. Not that I’m complaining about her ditching it now.
i was at first till i remembered, that Chrysalis, turned into shining armor in this comic. after celestia somehow changed one of the changeling drones, back into Paper somehow (and teleported away to be alone with her), twi and cadance were left to deal with chrysalis. chrysalis changed into shining armor, thinking cadance wouldn’t attack her if she looked like shining armor. then she jumped chrysalis into a portal looking pissed off.

and idk if it’s really stated, but i think this does take place sometime in the future. how far idk. and shining passed on.
I immediately recall many pages ago when she was ready to take her out before Chrys turned into Shining, when she was coming hat-in-hoof, asking for help for her starving race.
Well comic takes place techically like 100 years after the show. I seriously doubt that princess of LOVE of all things would keep a grudge for THAT long.
Yeah, that doesn’t sound good…I don’t think I’ll read this comic…
Also, way to kill the tension AND make the situation make no sense. Seriously.
Angry sex.
