She’s really a stallion. But being a colt she wasn’t allowed to be around her sisters. So one day she came back to her pa and ma and said in an all too calm a manner that belyaed the sadness in his eyes.
 
“Can I play with sisters now?” as he presented his male parts to his parents, now only realizing how wrong they were to segregate their loving son from his siblings, especially the one pony who understood him the most, Pinkie Pie.
 
That or maybe she got cut and scratched too much working the fields and is a scarred and disfigured mess much like Dead Pool is. Only her legs and face were spared from whatever rockslide or cave in that nearly killed her.
 
Dunno, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

She had her family. She’s pretty protective of that family and their traditions.
 
As she said, she don’t need no pony FORCING their way into their family. That’s exactly how AJ came off. She belittled their ways and ruined a sacred time of family togetherness for them. Limestone is just happy as long as her family is happy. She’s just a tough cookie is all who puts up too much of a front, but clearly loves Pinkie and her family.
