Yeah, the game’s simple enough, and making your ‘own’ cards is fun enough, I don’t think it’ll die before people stop playing it.
Heck, the balance won’t be too skewed by people bad at game-design either; Most of the cards do more or less the same thing, with the occasional extra power.
Unlike when people make their own Magic or Pokemon cards; They’re always either entirely bland, or a mess (though, to be fair, plenty of official Pokemon cards are already weird compared to the rest) - sometimes both at once (as in, no special abilities or anything, but more raw power than they should)
I’m skeptical to the longevity of the actual playing of the game, though; If you’re not playing it with people willing to at least half-heartedly weave a narrative, it’s a very simple game with very luck-based goals.
Possibly good to fill time between other games in a con or whatever, but I don’t see people sitting in queues to play it online with strangers or anything.
Until I’m translate cards and help others to make his own cards, the game will never die!
