Fun fact: technically, someone is still alive after their neck is broken, and probably won’t pass out for 10 seconds if the break has obstructed blood flow, or a full minute or more if it hasn’t and the only issue is that they can’t breath. Could also be instant, too, though, if there’s enough shock. But she could be conscious but quadropalegic for a solid minute after the snap.
 
Medical knowledge ftw! So if someone’s neck breaks you can theoretically, maybe keep them alive with CPR or something until serious help arrives.
