Background Pony #23BA
Wow, they ruined Silent Night! I’m not even religious and I hate this change with a passion.

@Marnssj
Left out one detail which you probably would have figured out on your own; Michelle Creber and Tabitha St. Germain do backup vocals so it’s really an Apple family song which makes the feels all that more powerful. No Peter New, though.

Bought it.
Wrote a brief review.
1.It’s a Pony kind of Christmas
Generic but festive and unmistakably Christmasy. If you love Twi singing, this is your track.
2.Jingle Bells
RD sounds just like she should in this very ponycentric version. Very jolly. A “one horse open sleigh” sounds racist.
3.Deck The Halls
Rarara singing like she’s better than everypony else.
4.We Wish You A Merry Christmas
A bit choppy here and there with the tempo changeups but it’s festive. Reminiscent of the first track.
5. Silent Night
Cringe as Fluttershy sings a version of this timeless classic which has its lyrics purged of religious references. If you can get over that, her vocal peformance is flutterbetes at its finest. Reminiscent of Hush Now, Quiet Now. This sweet song makes me want to go to sleep with a smile.
6.Twelve Days Of Christmas
Pinkie singing a ponified list of the gifts her true “friends” gave to her. Very true to her character. Diehard Pinkie lovers should find this song to be their fave.
7.Last Year I Got Coal For Christmas
This one was hard to listen to. I have no idea who this colt named Pop Fly is but he’s doing a tribute to I’m Gettin’ Nuttin’ For Christmas that feels like it should be sung by Button Mash voiced by Shadyvox. This should have been replaced by a song by Princess Celestia… like Silver Bells.
8. Jolly Old St.Nick
Oh, yes. Spike fans, you may commence to rejoicing. This is Spike gettin’ down! Spike sprinkling scat into his jazz was an unexpected surprise but it fit perfectly.
9.Days Gone By (Auld Lang Syne)
A nut punch to the feels. Seriously. This one will rip out your heart and bring about some liquid pride.
10.The Heart Carol
An extended version of Circle of Pony Friends song from the end of the Hearth’s Warming Eve play. A perfect choice for the final track.

I give this album a 4 out of 5. The pony gang and Daniel Ingram did a great job.

Not a Llama - Happy April Fools Day!

Dumb
After listening to some of the previews on Amazon, it’s not as bad as I was expecting AT ALL. In Ingram we trust.
