I’ve actually been enjoying D-va lately. Yes, her shotguns slow her to a crawl, but it slows me down enough that I tend to actually and effectively aim for headshots. Everyone else except turret-mode Bastion, I’m habitually darting all around with constantly, so the best I can typically do is aim center mass.
 
Oh, and related to Mei fisticuffs, I got PotG in our all-Mei shenanigans match by getting a quad-kill, the fourth one being punching Zarya in the face. “Ancient chinese secret; FACEPUNCH.” Gold card.

Mei is more annoying than really OP per-say. She drives me nuts. Makes games not fun, same as Mc Cree: slows/stuns in a FPS is just the worst.
 
Yeah, I saw the gremlin D.Va pics, the Umaru ones too, poor girl got the short end of the fanart stick. Wa now have a duritos queen to go with the king.

Never saw Mei be too hard to counter.
 
Although I do remember this one time a mei did nothing but melee the whole round and the person I was watching was the healer so all you heard the whole round was KYAH HIYAH KYAH HIYAH KYAH KIYA! So annoying.

My biggest issue is just the hit boxes I get casualness is an element but I should not be getting hit from behind a wall by a sniper bullet or arrow there’s no excuse for that, that is just bad game design and is not just a product of casual play as it does not make things more fair it makes less fair. If they fix that I’d be perfectly content with everything else.

Nah, makes sense that phara would have a hard time when widow spots her: phara is usually hovering in mid air, a sitting duck for widowmaker really. I said phara and winston because a good widowmaker will always scuttle up for high ground, so your job as winston or phara is to jump/fly up to her nest and, if not kill her, contest her vantage point.
 
Widowmaker and soldier are the most basic heroes to play, yeah, but again, Overwatch is a casual game. It’s meant to be played by low skill players. Toss a pro player in there and he will wreck everyone, true, but that’s the case for any game. A pro TF2 sniper will heatshot one-kill anyone, a pro CS player will 360-no-scope-lolz with the AWP, but in overwatch games are won with good ultimates and teamwork. Widow has one of the weakest ults in the game.

Pharah (ironically) is one of the heroes I see have the toughest time dealing with her just two quick chest shots and it’s over. Seriously I watched someone who almost never plays her and admits he sucks with her and he just wrecks with her now imagine someone who is good with her playing it’s a nightmare. The biggest problem I have seen is her scope shots even in point blank range with mcree’s and reapers she can still scope shot you instantly it should not be that easy for her to do that at extremely close range.

Nah, needing two full charged body-shots to kill a squishy seems about right to me. Any lower and she’ll be useless as a sniper. Maybe nerf her scoped uncharged shots a little? Not sure on that one. Look at other snipers in most other games, they either one-shot or two-shot people (scout and AWP in CS for example, Sniper in TF2). If a widow is annoying you, go get her with a phara or a winston, think vertical.

Yes I know I mentioned the hitbox before that’s what I’m saying they need to fix them and make them smaller cause right now they are beyond ridiculous.
 
P.S. Widowmaker is still too OP.

It’s a mix of client side hit detection (what NotmetaB explained) and the fact that the hitboxes are huuuuuge compared to other games. That’s why you can hit right next to a target and hit them, and part of the reason why Widowmaker was so strong before her nerf: she didn’t have to aim precisely to one-shot people.
 
Also Hanzo’ arrow has its own large hitbox, so when the two meet… Don’t forget that Overwatch is a very casual game, so the shooting has been dumbed down, a lot.

But I have seen the target move to cover or move out of the way on my screen and still get killed and they usually say in game that it was bullshit they were nowhere near it and I saw it miss them as well from the other end and agree with them so it’s not just they were hit on someone else’s screen but not on there’s because it missed on both ends.

The reason it’s like that is because Blizzard’s “favor the shooter” system. If you see a person on your screen and you kill them, it doesn’t matter what they see, so long as you killed them on yours, they’re dead once they resync with the server.  
It’s similar to how Call of Duty’s latency works, if you snipe a guy who walks through a doorway on your screen, but on his he’s behind a wall still, the game will register the snipe on yours, but he’ll still die behind the wall on his.  
Thus brings me into my next point, stop comparing TF2 and Overwatch. Just because the gameplay is similar, does not equate the same.  
I’ve logged 2,500 hours in TF2, but have yet to play Overwatch, but even then, I’ve seen and read countless data tables and gameplay and, arguably, this acts more like a MOBA “hero shooter” with a TF2-like aesthetic.  
The best way I can explain is this: TF2 has you build loadouts that accommodate your style within your role in a team, assuming you have the necessary unlockables to achieve it. But you’re very much independent gameplay-wise outside of a competitive scene if you aren’t part of the main objective force, or the “combo,” whereas Overwatch has various characters that may fit a role, but it’s up to you o find the one that fits your style and can counter the enemy team’s composition.  
In TF2, you build the loadout, usually with a set meta for achieving specific personal goals, but in Overwatch, the CHARACTERS are the loadout, and, as a team, you have to establish a composition to counter the team’s composition.
 
Here’s an analogy I’ve come up with to make this simple: “TF2 is like checkers, everyone is equal but the plan of attack will always be different. And Overwatch is like chess, everyone has a specific role to play and it’s up to the team as a whole to decide how to counter how the enemy will play their roles.”
 
I hope this helps break up this stupid discussion/comparison.

Also the net code needs work as I have seen Hanzo’s kill players who were no longer in the spot they shot at but they still get killed or when players go behind a wall for cover but a widowmaker or hanzo manage to hit them anyway and this is with players who have like 80 ping so it’s not just lag.
 
But if Rainbow six siege or even TF2 are any indication the net code will never be touched.

Interesting hopefully she’ll be less op because the main complaint I see from players is widowmaker killing them almost instantly with just body shots and if it were on characters like zenyatta or a tracer that would make sense but on pharah and mcree it’s a little ridiculous.
 
They also need to fix road hogs hook that thing can grab you even when it’s a persons length away from you even if you around a corner it can still grab you.

The minimum damage for sniper shots is 12. They need to be fully charged (roughly 1 second) to get to the maximum damage, which has recently been changed to 120. Headshots still deal 300 damage when charged.
 
McCree was also nerfed to make the individual shots from FtH deal less damage (from 70 to 45), but the cooldown afterwards was reduced from .75 seconds to .3 seconds.

Though they tried to nerf Mcree’s fan the hammer but he can still 1v1 a tank with it.

Because it’s the easiest to win on defense; Especially the third section which is just a glorified hallway that benefits engineers and heavies especially. Scouts and spies can’t do nada because they have very little room to maneuver, soldiers and demos can’t rocket/sticky jump as much due to the tunnel system linking various parts of a section of the map, and snipers have too few spots they can set up without immediately getting blasted by rocket spam.
