The image of that BG is somewhere on here. The comments on it say she is a BG in Mare-Do-Well, years before Starlight’s first defeat. :)
One reactor wondered about a pony with a lot of makeup who was watching the play in Made in Manehattan. Not convinced, myself, though.

Chances are that wouldn’t have worked. Pinkie has a consistent habit of failing to pick up on subtext, and probably would’ve corrected her on that fact very quickly.
I wonder how things would have transpired if Twilight had spotted Starlight in that restaurant or hiding in the bushes?
You could also blame Twilight a bit too, since her response wasn’t about how it was impossible or anything like that, just that it was dangerous. Granted, since she doesn’t know that her conversation is being overheard there’s no reason for her to lie about something like that, but just think about how things might have been different had she just laughed the idea off as ridiculous.
