A bit of headcanon for you all:
Discord isn’t the only Draconequus, and they don’t all adhere to the standard four-limbed-snake body type. Some look a lot more down to earth, while others look far stranger. This is Twilight Sparkle, overtaken by the powers of Chaos and thrown headlong into her greatest fears and stresses. In this form, she tends to think at a far more objective, instinctual level. She is vengeful, violent, and extremely powerful. Normally, magic users have a natural mental block that prevents them from overusing their magic, but a Draconequus has no need for a safety measure like that.
And yes, those are her eyeballs in her chestplate.

I absolutely agree. I’ve seen interesting ones in the past, but no one seems to explore the concept of what a Draconequus is - a mash of different things - enough. Almost every OC I’ve seen has had the standard limbed-snake body shape, for example.
“I just know ponies are going to blame this on me,”
“I refuse to deal with this. Fix her with your Elements of Harmony or something before she starts accusing you of giving her weird looks.”
I’m imagining Discord standing nearby and going ‘nope’ before walking off.
Alrighty then. Snake-mole-griffon-thing it is!
The part of her chestplate looks a bit like a starmole’s nose too. And now that you mention it, it does look more like a beak.
I hadn’t actually been thinking mole when I drew this, but yeah, that fits pretty well. She is almost blind in this form after all. As for the Tatzlwurm part, no. That thing on the front of her head is a giant beak.
