You just described the same exact thing twice.
Its not outdated lol its what this is. Anthro centaur would be anthro human body on a horse body this isn’t that this is on a pony body with a human on top at best this is EQGtaur XD
Then that tag is outdated and must be scrapped. We have “anthro centaur” already.
I have no Idea, like I said that’s the difference but lots of people doesn’t seem to know the difference.
Then why do people keep tagging my EqG centaurs with it?
Actually Ponytaur is more when the human part is more anthro and the horse part is pony, offering no visible separation between both parts but lots of people seem to like still refer it as centaur and then confuse both.

Apparently it stands for Multi Picture Object which is a stereoscopic image captured by a digital camera and contains two jpg images side by side and allows them to be viewed as a single 3d image?

The “ponytaur” tag seems to mean “centaur where the quadruped part comes from a pony”.
