I’d assume so, although technically the comics are in an entirely separate continuity from the show and the movies.
I would love it if that was small side plot. If it switched to AJ saying that there was nothing to worry about because they sent Big Mac to get them, and she just wishes she hadn’t had to interrupt his hockey game or something, and it switches to him and he’s still wearing the mask.
So what’s the over/under on there being a pony in a hockey mask at some point?
I don’t know. A group of kids getting lost in the woods sounds like a horror movie set-up to me.
