I didn’t say ‘Comics’. I said about this one EG comic when Big Mac appeared in classroom and he had red hair.

I’m gonna pretend it’s just regular fizzy cider. But other than that, this is a nice picture. The Rainbooms celebrating human Twilight’s birthday and having fun with her. She looks as nervous as ever about this but it’s probably better than her other birthdays where she must have been real lonely.

I’d ask how they bought that but that brings up the question of what the characters’ ages are, and that way lies madness.

Big Mac is not a student , because he didn’t appear in any classrooms (comic are not canon), maybe he goes to CHS only to work or help. He is older than students. Maud Pie is also older, she didn’t apperar in CHS, only in concert.
 
Humane six looks about 17-18 years old.

Here comes another “Mane Six age” argument. Here’s what I have to say.
 
Maybe their ages in EQG reflect their MATURITY, not their physical pony age. After all, despite the fact that the Mane Six appear to be in their late teens/early twenties in the show, Lauren Faust said she intended their maturity to be 13 or 14.
 
This explains why the Crusaders are in high school, despite their pony counterparts being elementary school age, and why Cheerilee is a teacher and Big Mac is a student, despite their pony counterparts being implied to be a similar age.
