Six months of planning, stalking, and actual hard work. Glimmer wouldn’t stand a chance in an impromptu battle against Twilight–she had to make sure Twilight is severely disadvantaged before she even try to take her on. Glimmer had to catch her completely off guard, modifies the Time Spell so that Twilight never gets to make the first move, and tire her out by making her go back and forth in time. What’s impressive is that Glimmer used self-levitation to the point of flight–enough to fight Twilight in midair!
