Never noticed before how much larger Twi’s leg and hoof are here. She’s jacked.
If you’re inclined to accept the old chapter book Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell as canonical, then being an alicorn means that she possesses (among other things) the “strength of a good, true heart an earth pony”.
 

 
And that isn’t the only time it’s been implied that that alicorns in general might have substantial physical strength.
