Actually yes, Starlight is awesome for Azriel and is even to the point that she is doing what she is doing, not out of raw animosity, but because she believes there is no other way.
of course… there is the possibility Starlight is the hidden/illegitimate child of Celestia/Sombra if the IDW comics have any relation to the canon…
Actually. Starlight could be Asriel if you watch the season finale. She doesn’t want her friend to leave just like Asriel and both went to the dark side. The only difference is Asriel’s a lot more tragic since it wasn’t his fault that much.
AJ can fuse with RD to make Undyne the undying.
Actually, Fluttershy is napstablook (heartwrenching when you remember the mettaton scene).
Toriel is Celestia, as it fits well since she took care of Spike while twilight was doing studies until Spike was old enough to work as her personal assistant and her direct liason to the royalty.
A Nicer Sombra (attitude, still retaining a lot of his dark looks) was what seemed the best fit for Asgore.
The tough one was Asriel, but after discussion, we decided on Luna. She’s the only one who had a full breakdown due to completely unjust reasons, but also has her personally crafted persona of Nightmare Moon
Rarity is Mettaton, twilight is alphys, RD is Undyne, Scootaloo is Monster Kid. Derpy is Toby, Pinkie is temmie, I don’t believe we found a role for AJ.
Considering how Fluttershy would fit Toriel’s role well, you know those two would make a great pair of friends.
Nah, we discussed this in an image where Spike was the Protag that the only one who fits Sans to a T is actually Discord. Why? Well, aside from both often being lazy and not ding anything right, they pun off ALL the time.
But Discord and Sans also have NO issue dropping a serious moment if the occasion calls for it and have untapped immense power, rarely ever using it to the full extent.
But also that Discord values true friendship deep down and would fight extremely hard to retain it when faced with losing it.

Papyrus IMO seems to be the most pacifist type compared to others with Toriel coming second. (Her reaction if she accidentally killed you is priceless). He spares you every time with 1HP and even if you lose to him numerous time, you ‘technically’ can’t lose to him. He’s so merciful.
And that’s why we love him.
Warning: Reading her comics about an alternate scenario where Chara takes out Sans before Papyrus may break your heart.
This is what Trixie could have been and Papyrus is a great example to that and that’s what makes Papyrus amazing. He’s a great and powerful SUPPORTER to anyone and though harmless, he’s got a big heart. They oughta be besties.
And I just realized Papyrus had a smart moment when you tried to date Undyne. Despite the naive nature of his, he’s got his moments.
Trixie could probably learn a thing or two from him… Maybe that’s even could be going on here?
Also you know it would have to have been Pinkie and Sans that arranged this little inter dimensional get together.
