I feel like this artist has a lot of potential, as they’re clearly good at using references to draw show accurately. The proportions on this picture are very off, so I don’t think freehand drawing ponies is their forte. If you’re trying to freehand the show’s style, I’d try sketching it first, then comparing it to pictures with similar positions and making your adjustments before finalizing the drawing. Just my 2 cents since I (kinda) try to draw show accurately.
