The wall of text is a first sign of low-effort reply. Just like graphomaniacs shouldn’t feel proud if themselves, long winded reply does not mean “a good reply”. Often they’re quite rambling, deviating to unrelated subjects, reiterating same thing again and again, etc, and could be shortened to 20 words or less if actual effort was made. No, I don’t need to read your raw stream of conscious, thank you very much.
your current filter.Oh no. It’s entirely intended to aggravate the person who typed the long response. Usually the other person probably felt the topic was too trivial for a long-winded reply, didn’t care, or maybe thought the reply was way too serious.
