I probably should’ve commissioned to have Hexxus from FernGully instead of the Once-ler. It’ll be a one big polluting party.
Apparently, judging from the source link, these three are “polluters.”
Though, yeah the Once-ler isn’t exactly “evil.”
— Why the Hell is the Once-ler there?
Yeah, if there’s one thing all the different Robotniks/Eggman have in common, it’s their own ego.
I also think he betrayed Naugus, and trapped him in the Zone of Silence, (which later became the “Special Zone” later in the comics canon after all the chaos emeralds were sent there) because he didn’t trust him.
True. Aside from being evil, it was probably because working with someone means he won’t get all the credit to himself.
I think the darker SatA.M. Robotnik doesn’t like to work for others, unless he can two-time ’em, or get something out of it. Due to his ego, he tends to underestimate the power of some like Naugus, so he could make the same mistake with other villains.
Naugus was interesting, ’cause he was the only character Robotnik actually feared.
I imagine Robotnik betraying Tirek or Sombra would result in a similar outcome to betraying Naugus… but worse.
King Sombra: Rule number two, Robotnik. No one betrays King Sombra.
Tirek: Did you really think I’d let you betray me and get away with it?
Yeah, SatA.M. Robotnik was one bad haiku. I imagine “Sonic Boom” Eggman would be a li’l scared of him.
The robotic arm looked kinda cool. (Sega even considered using it for his redesign in “Sonic Adventure.”
“Rule number one, Naugus. Never trust anyone. Especially me.”
