A motto most mercenaries live by.
Oh, the Archery perks are fantastic in Skyrim. :D Only reason my Thief can lose at all is cuz I barely invest in Smithing or Enchanting, lol.
Shrouded Hand Wraps, brah, it’s the gift that keeps on giving. Granted, pulling off a backstab on dragons is damn near impossible…
Fireball’s useful once you’ve got the perk that lets you stagger with dual-cast, since it’s mana-cheap and you can just stunlock them forever. It kinda pales next to, say, a Legendary Dragonbone Longbow with the archery perks and a high marksman skill, because you can kill them so fast that they can’t reach you anyway.
Or you can sneak-attack them and kill them in one shot. :-P Or cruise around with legendary daggers, muffled boots, and the backstab perk and kill literally anything in one swing.
On the other side we have the Thief class, which is…ummm…pandered to juuuust a bit. XD
I’m not knocking armored mages, I’m knocking mages. :-P Magic in Skyrim is kinda weak compared to smithing+weapon skills, since spells don’t damage-scale with skill like all weapons do, and their damage-boosting perks aren’t as powerful as the weapon perks.
Or….he IS Spike’s father.
And don’t underestimate Armored Mages so easily! I actually played a Heavy Armored Swapping Spellsword (double wield swords for close, double magic for distance) and apart from Falmer and Forsworn I was a wrecking ball.
Where are you seeing a two-handed weapon? With that wacky armor combo, we may be looking at an Unarmed-spec Dovahkiin, or maybe a mage. Definitely not an optimizer, at least. :-P
Well….no. At least if you’re playing as an evil Dovahkiin.
Spike’s got this one, guise.
