As a certified Shameless Unironic Lover of Terrible Movies TM (Roland Emmerich was my favorite director as a kid), I loved the prequels almost as much as the original trilogy.
THIS on the other hand deserves to be banned by the Geneva Convention, with all physical copies jettisoned into space as a warning to alien races of humanity’s unlimited potential for sheer horror.
I don’t know. It may be. I know that everything Zahn did is out but that the Marvel Star Wars comic and the giant green space rabbit are still canon.
That’s what most of us thought when we originally saw it. Yes, I was one of those lucky(?) souls who got to see this when it first aired. For years afterward I thought it was all some weird dream until I discovered that no, it was a real thing.
And just for fun: what would a MLP:FiM Holiday Special look like if it was done the same way as the Star Wars one? And how many of us would watch it, even if we knew it was going to be horrible?
That would be… weird.
Ask anyone involved with making it, and they will deny that it even exists.
