I couldn’t find any siren gems. I found this Ilum crystal instead. Ilum crystals are usually found in lightsabers, but used the sensitivity to make a necklace that reaches into Sonata’s angelic soul. Her singing voice is the same, but she now feeds off of positive ambient energy that comes from anyone who enjoys the music. No harm done whatsoever!

Poor Sonata! We need another red gem pendant here, stat!

Shhh. (hugs) It’s okay. It’s okay, Sonata. You never needed that stupid gem anyway. Magic is just a crutch. With a little bit of time and a little bit of help, you can find your own beautiful voice.

I suddenly have this mental image of Sonata going to one of those small, hole in the wall coffee places or bars where they have a stage set up for hopefuls to try and put on a performance, and of her trying to sing again. But she can’t because the magical item that gave her that ability, that made her voice strong and enticing, no longer exists. So there she stands, in front of bored, apathetic patrons, tears forming in her eyes as she desperately tries to muster even the tiniest sliver of the power she once had.
 
And failing.

Maybe there’s something deep inside him that pulls beneath the surface, consuming, confusing. Maybe it’s a lack of self-control that he feels is never-ending.

I hope the artist is ok. I mean, what could make you draw a picture that sad at christmas?

A man walks up to the sad siren. He’s holding a box, and presents it to Sonata. Sonata dosen’t notice as she collapses and begins bawling on her hands and knees. The man pokes her with the box.  
“W-what do you wwant with me?” The sad, sad siren asks with tears pouring from her face. The man gets on one knee and opens the top of the box with a smile. He reveals two boxes within the box, with the two boxes differing in size, and pulls out the larger of the two boxes. He opens it to reveal a silver and platinum necklace with a strange glowing crystal that’s fluctuating with different colors.  
“W-what is it?” Sonata asks in a sad but curious tone, “C-can I wear it?” The man nods and Sonata tries to put the necklace on with shaky hands. The man puts his hands around Sonata’s hands and he helps put the necklace around Sonata’s neck. Sonata’s eyes begin glowing, her throat also glows, and she regains her siren wings for five seconds. Sonata’s veins also begin to glow, and the man suddenly deeply kisses the siren causing his veins to glow. The man moaned in pain as his veins glowed brighter than Sonata’s, and he falls to the floor. Sonata suddenly discovers that her singing voice has come back.  
“Wow! What kinda necklace is this?” Sonata asks, now ecstatic with joy, “And why did you kiss me like that?”  
“Because if I didn’t, you would’ve died from the pain of putting on that necklace.” The man answers, “That necklace was made through one hell of a trip. Remember me from two months back? I said that I’d get you’re voice back because I love you for who you are? I said that you’re an angel in the skin of a demon. That’s why I’m not finished yet.” The man pulls out the second box, and opens it. He reveals a ring that has eight magic gems that surround a diamond. The magic gems are the color of Sonata’s eyes.  
“The eight gems help to cast out who you are, so that everyone dosen’t see your evil skin… Even though your evil skin is as beautiful as your heart and soul. It’s a human tradition. We tend to offer rings to those who we want to be with until death. Can that person please be you, Sonata Dusk?”…
