Actually, in the few seconds of her episodes when we see Trixie using her own magic, she cast a variety of spells bested only by discord in the same screentime (telekinesis, pyrokinesis, teleport, light displays, stormy clouds casting, rainbow solidifying, taser beam…) if not other, she has an ample variety of tricks at her disposition and, judging from the dimension of the burn she left on the Ursa Minor’s flank, even a descreet power (Alicorn Twilight blows had no better effect in ep.100).  
Her main weakness would probably be “easily gullible”.

It would be the best episode of season 6. I hope it happens.

Oh gosh. Trixie wouldn’t last very long considering how powerful starlight’s magic was. And since she doesn’t have alicorn amulet D:! Run Trixie! Run!  

This would make an interesting episode next season. The meeting of the foils: cynical Trixie versus socially-twisted Starlight.
