Yes I know as it has happed to me a few times accidentally hitting it when I ment to hit post reply since they’re kinda next to each other, and I have fat clumsy fingers. lol  
It’s not that I can not see the need to post anon,as such. It’s that unregisterd Anons IMHO should have, as many blocks in their path, to get them to register. As I seem to understand that any old troll could turn up here and start stuff. Perhaps my view is too idilistic, but I’ma gonna guess that if those people were as limited at the start, there’d be less drama.
 
Note my rant is about unregistered BP’s, not the ones that choose to post as BP’s for whatever reason.

A lot of background pony posts/uploads are registered users. If you are logged in and click the “post anonymously” checkbox when making a comment or posting an image, it shows you as a background pony.

Personally, and ok its just my opinion, but I think a lot of crap could be covered by simply getting rid of the whole Background Pony crap. Which just seems tombe rife for abuse. Beyound all that I think BPs should have severe limits placed upon them, to encourage those to eventually register like the rest of us.
 
Perhaps BPs could continue to post, as BPs I know I made a few mis-clicks on the post as BP from time to time. But, I think its time to draw the line at posting Images. Yeah I know it would suck for the other inoccent BPs. Then again life sucks. And the BPs kinda brought it on themselves.
