The only thing that I see wrong with her eyes is that they’re not on the top five most beautiful list! They look like gemstones.
Yes. I think the issue here was I was trying to make an Asian Twilight. Because in my headcanon, she’s as Asian as a small horse can be. And as you know, Asians have flatter faces with less deep shadows by which to show form/anatomy, and in my limited ability, trying to portray that made it come out with a porcelain doll kind of look. Personally, I still think she’s pretty cute, but obviously I just have shit taste, because so many others don’t. I guess I’ll get it eventually. I’m doing face studies now.
it’s an improvement, but it’s still not quite right. I’ve seen your other work and you tend to be pretty good with facial structure, it’s just this particular picture you seem to be struggling with. Do you use an x/y plane when modeling the head?

I don’t know if it fixes it entirely, but I think it’s a bit better anyway.
Some people like baby faces, it’s not uncanny. There are people with faces like this.
