>you will never a pretty princess
>you will never big pink wings and the horn
Remember all that destiny crap they push?
Maybe the lesson is real life.
I have some unfortunate news for you about the concept of “princesses”.
the rest of us have to do incredible deeds, but she just… gets wings?
what lesson are they teaching here? give up if you were born poor? upper class are better than others, by birth?
Yes he is stop making headcanon
Oh, whoops. My bad. ‘3’
XDD Why are we still debating on a debunked source? I agree with you!
Well if it is one of those magazine comics, then it doesn’t count. Those aren’t canon.
It’s a moot point anyway, as The Journal of the Two Sisters (which is canon) confirmed that they were alicorns from birth.
Might have been, but memory just isn’t working for me
Was it one of those magazine comics?
There was a comic that depicted Celestia and Luna having been two different, normal races of pony as children. I forget what it’s called or where I saw it, since it’s no longer so easy to just type in “Celestia and Luna Comic” and it just happen to be there. It WAS an officially licensed comic, though. Whatever the case, I’m sure people can still find it if they look harder than I just did. XS
Ah yeah, that’s true.
Oh, I’m not debating that, I’m just saying it would be trivially easy to weasel out of. Though I suppose it it came to that, they could just take it back entirely.
@Eeveeinheat
When it starts taking over people’s lives, doesn’t it go from fiction to propaganda?
Oh, and some people take the bible way too seriously, too.
True, one could interpret it in several different ways. But until they clarify otherwise, it can be assumed that it means “Twilight was not granted the same long lifespan that Celestia and Luna have”.
“Twilight will not outlive her friends” are words that would be fairly easy to twist if needed.
My feet are planted firmly on the cliff, it’s everyone else who feel off when it was a hill.
I see you worship at the Church Of The Edgelord instead.
Using a graph based on fiction to speculate on a completely different fiction? Interesting strategy.
To add to that, it was once perfectly logical to assume that all alicorns were created via the ascension method until the showrunners declared that Twilight would not outlive her friends. That declaration created a clear difference between the kind of alicorn that Celestia and Luna are, and the kind that Twi and Cadance are.
What issue states or hints that Celestia and Luna were not alicorns at some point?
In addition to Twilight’s issue-muddling opening narration in the Series Premiere, there are several (very well done) fan works that operate on that premise, so it’s possible some fans have been led into thinking that it came from the show and/or comics themselves.
I’ve read every issue, and I don’t remember anything that even suggested that.
