I can see that this is supposed to be a bad outcome for Rainbow Rocks and all, but with the way the movies have been going? I’m actually finding it pretty damn hard to sympathize with CHS for even a minute, to the point that this almost seems ideal.  
Unfortunate for Sunset after all she’s been through, but if she is deemed to deserve a happy ending after a few years of being a bully and a few months of trying to atone for it, I think I’d rather see this than the sirens enduring an uncertain quantity of time trapped in another world only to remain trapped there with what amounts to their special talents and an integral part of their beings ripped away from them for the rest of their lives.

Such a mislabelling of tags must be addressed! Change that “bad end” to “best end”! The only way to make it better would be by having the other main characters serving the One True Queen in some way. Ooh! Ooh! Maybe pull a “The Thief and The Cobbler” and have them form a human throne for her to sit on. Maybe one of them as a footstool–especially harsh for that poor sap, what with her spiked heels.  

Bad end?! This is surely a wonderful and fantastic ending!
