Well… in all honesty it’s actually decently drawn. Besides the fill error.
 
WAIT! According to that link that shows the uncolored version… a different artist then you drew it?! And you didn’t credit that artist in THIS picture?! BOOOOOOOO.

Okay so… As Lance said
 
Make sure you don’t leave white gaps… What you need to do… Okay so, for example, with Fossil Digger… You need to put the black outline on the top layer and the brown coloring on the bottom layer… That way you can color into the black line and it won’t show and you can make sure you don’t leave any white gaps… I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure that’s how you do it
 
Did that make any sense…?

Because COLORING!!
No, no, never use the bucket tool directly on the lines and leave it at that. That’s sloppy. You’ve got to use another layer to make sure that there isn’t white space between the color and the black lines.
