Perhaps, though I do feel her being Muslim can also work. One simply nerds to remember the majority of Muslims are not terrorist extremists.
 
The only issue I can see with Fluttershy being Muslim is in the treatment and role women have is such a culture, and how especially the USA such is viewed negatively.

Don’t much care for or agree with Rarity being dark skinned or with Pinkie Pie being overweight, but I am actually quite fine with Fluttershy being Muslim as it is an interesting idea and doesn’t conflict with any of my thoughts involving the character.

No where was it said that all religions were inherently hostile or war-mongering, those are your words. Projecting much? Nor was any argument made in regards to atheists, who only make up about 16% of the world population, mind you. That said, anyone can have radical views, anyone can become violent, however there can be direct links drawn to Abrahamic based religions and terrorist acts as well as religiously motivated power hunger despots.
 
Yes, there have been some atheists in power that caused human atrocities, however none of their motivations where done in the name of atheism. The whole argument trying to draw correlation has no merit, it is a logical fallacy.
 
Also, look up the meaning of irony, you are using it wrong. Please return when you have a formal education and know how to present a proper argument.

Regardless, you can’t say they’re all bad. Yea, sure, people have done horrible things in the name of religion before, and that will only go away once religion does, but can you honestly say that all religions are inherently hostile or war-mongering? Certainly not most and not even some. Can you really say that atheists as a whole are any better, like Stalin, who persecuted people because of having religious beliefs among other things? Really, your “anti-all-religion” stance paints religion and non-religion in the same black and white absolutes that have plagued many religions themselves. Irony much?

Honestly I am anti all religion. They all suck, they are all terrible with Christianity and Judaism being just responsible for the woes of the world over the centuries. It is unfortunate these Abrahamic beliefs have such the large influence on the ignorant masses they do and continue to get innocent people caught in their on going wars.

The only people who have a say what is and is not allowed here are the admins, I’ll let them argue that amongst themselves.
 
The point, as has been stated, is that without context, no one would make the connection. The argument made is that so far removed from the source material it might as well be considered a completely original work. The fact is we know it is, at least in part, inspired by fluttershy, so I do not see an issue with it being posted here.
 
Far as those making cultural references, no matter whay side of the argument they are on they are morons.
