not that you’d sink far in the first place, you can lay back aand float on it without trouble, quicksand is twice as dense as the living body, you are unlikely to sink below the waist.

at first it looked like mud instead of sand and then i thought  
so it’s a mud bath with maud…  
a maud bath!  
but it’s sand, so i cant really make that joke

It’s not deep enough to drown in unless she was TRYING to. and even if she fell asleep and started to go under, quicksand isn’t so strong that she’d be unable to reach out and grab the edge of the tub.
