My comment wasn’t a joke. Fluttershy really does die in an earlier part of this comic (she and Soarin get involved) and she dies in childbirth. The whole comic just hasn’t been uploaded here yet, but check the source if you don’t believe me.

Well her special talent is literally dealing with animals, to the point of where she can practically
talkto them. Save a few creatures like maybe Timberwolves, which I imagine are unnatural creatures, I kind of doubt the ‘killed by animals’ thing.Fluttershy either got mauled by an uncooperative bear or had a heart attack, I’d assume.
She also lives the closest to a monster-infested forest.
Probably saved the wrong rattlesnake or rescued the wrong rat.
…Wow now I’m a little depressed.
