You are all jerks, you know that? Thinking that the development of a character justify giving it a hug. Everyone needs a hug from time to time. If someone asks for a hug and you decline because that person/pony is just not interesting to you, than you are a going at it the wrong way.
I never hated a pony before you came a long and stole a opener, a finale And then a 2nd opener
xD ah if only you were actually designed by good writers. If only you stayed in S5’s opener.
And yet it’s Flurry Heart that everyone was getting worked up over, go figure…..
Exactly! The reason a ton of people compare her to a bad OC or a filler villain was how half-baked she is. Green lighting her for an entire season or more makes no sense.
On top of that Starlight’s motivations and plans were so nearsighted and half baked she pretty much came off less as a legitimate threat and more of an accidental one.
She is indeed not.
From the second we heard the words ‘a demon. I turned into a raging she demon.’ They showed they were using Sunset’s sass and energy were being fully utilized as a protagonist. Starlight, on the other hand, for the entire two-parter felt completely lifeless. For a ‘character’, that’s never a good thing.
