How you even drew the conclusion that I implied you rebutted anything is a mystery; I specifically said you added nothing, and if you added nothing to the conversation you literally couldn’t have rebutted any arguments made earlier. You merely quoted something that an ill‐informed background pony said earlier and indicated your agreement with it, implying that it held some validity and thus reviving the argument.

That feminism isn’t bullshit, and that third‐wave feminism in particular is the only thing that has brought feminism into disrepute. My earlier comment gave a 30 minute video that covers feminism from its inception, from things like the white‐feather campaign, the double standards it actively sought to impose regarding conscription, how suffragettes fought against equal rights for black women, etc., to the more modern sins of the second wave.

You can’t just throw out an unspecified reference to feminism like that. There are hundreds—possibly thousands—of types of feminism, and all but a few are completely worthless to modern western society; if not openly antagonistic. Tumblr feminism is but a drop in the ocean, and a comparatively nonpoisonous one at that.

The difference between tumblr feminism and feminism is like the difference between eastern bloc democracy and democracy.

Any school of feminism that subscribes to patriarchy theory is one that is predicated on a conspiracy theory with no basis in reality. When you exclude all branches of feminism that espouse patriarchy theory all you have left are schools of feminism that already accomplished their goals (woman’s liberation) and/or are actually extinct (suffragettes).

There isn’t any “good” or “bad” feminism per say, only different schools of thought.  
The bad reputation is often associated with the stereotypical RadFem/SJW, because they are the loudest of the bunch.

That’s what people mean when they say feminism. No anti-feminist will say feminism wasn’t needed back in the day, or in some countries today, but in first-world countries feminism isn’t needed and the only way for women to get more rights is to have more than men.

Feminism isn’t bullshit. Third-wave man-hating feminism is bullshit. This group of self-appointed social justice warriors think men must suffer so they may be liberated. That’s not feminism. That’s male-directed sexism. And it’s no better than the people who think men can’t be raped and only white people can be racist.
 
The worst thing to be today is a guilt-free white cis male, because the SJW’s think there’s something wrong with that. In my view, that’s a very sexist, racist and cisphobic view.
