If unicorns were allowed to use their magic, they’d be able to do whatever the mud ponies can and more. Dirt horses just keep their traditions because if ponies weren’t required to follow them, they’d be rendered obsolete.

If I understood, the image relates about the unimportance of earth ponies (the reason of why Celestia, Fluttershy and Twilight are laughing), and you commented that “earth ponies” are Mexicans of Equestria. I guess you were hypothesizing that Equestria is somehow “United States” a country which is considered of “first world”. Mexicans in USA are common to do the jobs that most people of there don’t want to do, therefore, you are saying that Mexicans are “earth ponies” because a lot of people despise them.

Not quite sure what you are after with that but it’s sadly true that many people don’t seem to care much about regular workers. What would be the equivalent for the third world in Equestria? That place where Griffons lived sure looked rather bad but was that the only place they live?
