I could say the same for you, all it seems like you rather do is complain about what people say and post a hot and spicy reaction image as opposed to actually forming an argument. So ask yourself, why are you bothering? Do you have an ego to stroke? That’s what I’d say seems accurate. I look forward to your next reaction image.

You can’t say it’s “sharing a few plot points” when it’s practically the same lesson. And not to mention, the show, as many people will agree, is most certainly reaching rehash territory of many things. Let’s get into what you said, before your next reaction image.

Marketing a season based on the current toyline is not the same as corporate mandates
No. But it’s what they’re supposed to do. Hence Rainbow Power, Cutie Mark Magic, Crystal Empire, etc. They’ve failed with Explore Equestria. A toyline, mind you, which might have, god forbid, contributed something interesting and unique to the show.

and do you seriously think hasbro would allow the staff to ignore the “theme” if it was a mandate as you claim?
Hasbro’s involvement in the series has been cited to be pretty all over the place, as various people involved in IDW at least say there have been varying degrees of involvement. It’s impossible to judge this, and at BEST, the point is moot and neither of us can make an argument how involved they are, unless you somehow are involved. But forget about them, Hasbro mandates are one of the last problems in the series.

Jim miller specifically stated on twitter that it was marketing’s idea and not part of the development of the season,
And there’s the problem, how do you not get that? Also, I find it funny how you’re complaining about me not providing sources and citations, yet you do the same here. Nice hypocrisy there, buddy.

They have every right to dismiss personal attacks, which is not the same as constructive criticism.
When the staff starts complaining about people on Twitter, rather than just doing the smart thing and ignoring them, that very much so counts as moaning and wanting attention.

I’ve noticed a trend among people like you, you defend any complaining you and your ilk do under the guise of “constructive criticism” regardless of how constructive or civil it is.
You people? See, this is what I’m talking about, you already just form a strawman based off of whatever idea of people who don’t like how things are going, rather than actually creating a discussion. You are just as bad as the people who you think you’re arguing against, because all you’re doing is complaining about what others say without actually introducing something to contribute. If you want to talk about in depth what’s wrong with the season with me, be my guest, I’ll point out everything that’s wrong with Starlight and how she could have been approved. If you’d rather just post a reaction image and complain about what I’m saying, then this will be my last reply to you.

And you have to be pretty dense to think that the changes have had no effect on the show.

I don’t know why I even bother with you people.

Sharing a few plot points is not the same as a rehash, nor is having a few traits in common an imitation. All you’re doing is making claims and parroting other people who agree with you without properly explaining your position, taking things out of context, failing to provide examples and site sources, and making assumptions. Marketing a season based on the current toyline is not the same as corporate mandates, and do you seriously think hasbro would allow the staff to ignore the “theme” if it was a mandate as you claim? Jim miller specifically stated on twitter that it was marketing’s idea and not part of the development of the season, a fact you conveniently seem to ignore just so you can maintain your false narrative. And as for the staff “moan[ing] on Twitter when people say they don’t like what’s going on” They have every right to dismiss personal attacks, which is not the same as constructive criticism. I’ve noticed a trend among people like you, you defend any complaining you and your ilk do under the guise of “constructive criticism” regardless of how constructive or civil it is.

Oh I’m sorry, maybe you missed episodes like the zombie one, or that atrocious Starlight mind control one, that were very much poor knockoffs of Mare Do Well and Lesson Zero, respectively. And Mare Do Well wasn’t even that good to begin with. Not to mention Starlight herself is a very poor imitation of Sunset Shimmer. When you reach the point where you start retreading things, we’re out of ideas. The show needs to wrap up soon, it can’t go on forever whethet you like it or not.

And yes, peoplr leaving happens every season, but by this season we have lost the most people who were originally involved.

The show quality has gone down tremendously, especially with poor character writing, episode retreads, abd a staff that doesn’t care and would rather moan on Twitter when people say they don’t like what’s going on, rather than change things. Especially when they can’t even handle toy mandates well like “Explore Equestria”, and they barely get out of Manehattan and Canterlot, when everyone seems to want world building.

I really hope the series ends with the movie before it ends up like Spongebob or the Simpsons. It’s already on route with Fairly Odd Parents with all the nonsensical changes that really don’t add up to anything.

What the Fluff?
Um, what? Where did he say that he didn’t care about what other people think? When did he say any of that? And even if he said he was making the show PRIMARILLY for girls, lauren was doing the same thing. The show has always had little girls as the primary target demographic while trying to be enjoyable to the parents, and if he is only making the show for girls as you claim, how do you explain all the references and fandom nods?
You’re not making sense.

It was in a tweet. Some asshats had been harassing him, and Sibsy tweeted him and said, as best as I can remember it, “Don’t you love it that these people make vids, then go out and talk shit about us/the show?”

Jim replied “Fuck em. I don’t make the show for them to enjoy. I make it for little girls to enjoy.”

Someone else tweeted him a question about it, and he again replied “Fuck em.”

I agree with your points, I’m just clarifying that this did indeed happen.

and a director who doesn’t get Faust’s envision for the series. I’m referring to how on Twitter Jom [sic] Miller claims he doesn’t care what anyone thinks, he’s making the show for little girls

@Tragiclady
That’s a very, very interesting definition of “satisfying conclusion”, especially considering if there was anything redeemable about the finale, it most certainly was not her.

On top of that, 1% chance, really? The series is definitely losing steam and declining in quality as we continue to have more poor episodes, previous writers and staff leaving, retreads of previous episodes, and a director who doesn’t get Faust’s envision for the series. I’m referring to how on Twitter Jom Miller claims he doesn’t care what anyone thinks, he’s making the show for little girls, meanwhile Faust wanted a show enjoyable for families. Double bad considering even Hasbro is trying to make the line gender neutral. Honestly I think if there was ever a time to genuinely point out a very noticeable decline in quality, it’s now.

It’s funny because Starlight doesn’t get to be in the movie.

Starlight demonstrated a lot of winning at life in season 6 and brought her character arc to a satisfying conclusion in the finale. So I’m okay with it if shes not in later seasons or the movie.

Also for the 1% chance the series might decline in quality over time, I’ll be thankful if shes not involved in any of that :D (and nobody could blame it on her if shes not present cough )

What the Hell does that mean? No character is completely by themselves whenever there’s a character-focused episode. Sonic Rainboom puts some focus on Rare and Flutter. For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils co-stars Rarity and herself as a night-themed pony princess (St. Germain joke. ;3 ) Starlight’s leading/co-leading roles easily being No Second Prances, the Police song, and the finale, and technically, the premier as it consists of two intersecting plots (hurr, Brony slang). <3<

Misread the comment.

Starlight is the new Rarity. Which is kind of a bonus ‘cause she’s already the new Sunset. huehuehue ;D

Can we just put Rarity for the Season 6 banner and forget about Starlight as a character overall
Background Pony #81F5
@Hateot
Eh not really in Hearth’s Warming, at least comparatively. Also it’s to make up for Twilight being shunted out of having any episodes this season.
Background Pony #81F5
@thatguy
Not really, she really only had four stories, compared to Starlight’s three, but in those Rarity had to co-star in them with somepony else while in Starlight’s episodes she was front and center in those episodes.
Also Rainbow Dash seems to have gotten a lot more screen time than Rarity this season so far, though most of it wasn’t that great, at least according to some.
Background Pony #81F5
Yeah pretty much, now if you could only include all of the Mane 6 in that last image you’d have the season finale in a nutshell
