I like to think it’s because Equestria’s royalty is a bit old fashioned, so she isn’t a Queen unless she marries someone.
I just wish that it wasn’t unpopular to call good characters queen.
Princess Celestia really should be a queen, but that would make her sound old and…. Oh wait she is old. :p
It’s sad that only Queen Chrysalis is smart enough to upholde title Queen.
