You could always find/use higher resolution versions of those screencaps and recreate the sequence.
 
As for the text, I feel it just needs to contrast better with the background. A simple way of providing some better contrast is to just make the text a bit larger (and/or use a bigger, bolder font), colour it white and then stroke it with a black outline (almost like a meme image, basically). Another way to make the text more readable is to keep it black, but put it in a box/shape with a white or light coloured background.
 
Though, honestly, I think this is pretty fine as it is. I’d probably just keep this in mind if you do something similar in the future.
 
And if I ever illustrate this, it’ll probably be a long time before it comes to light. Nonetheless, I’ve added it to my long list of art ideas… X3

How would I go about editing the image? It wouldn’t be to hard to increase the size of this by a few hundred pixels.

However, if you don’t mind me saying, the text is a little hard to read and probably a bit too small (although the image itself is a bit small as well). I still love it, though.
