Hmmmm,

Rainbow Dash secretly loves physical affection, both giving and receiving, the only reason she keeps it a secret is because of the possible negative impact it would have on the image she has worked so hard to build.

This means that if you do gain enough of her trust that she feels you will understand these needs you need to be prepared to be an outlet for all this energy. Tank actually loves it and adores being fussed over and ultimately Scootaloo does too, but she sometimes finds the timing of these needs to be inconvenient.
